PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method having excellent storage stability and hardenability, and to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element manufactured by using the sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method.SOLUTION: There is provided a sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method containing a hardening resin, polymerization initiator and/or thermosetting agent, and naphthoquinone compound and/or naphthalene derivative.
