COMPOSITE PROFILE OF CELL ANTIGEN AND TARGET SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION PROTEIN FOR ANALYSIS AND CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OF HEMATOLOGIC CANCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing a composite marker profile for a sample derived from an individual suspected to have a neoplastic condition.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of : (a) reacting a biological sample with a set of binding molecules which include two or more binding molecule groups specific to individual cell population associated markers and identifying normal and neoplastic cell populations existing in the sample by the levels and combinations of markers; (b) identifying the existence of the normal and neoplastic cell populations existing in the sample by detecting the levels and combinations of markers which identify the normal and neoplastic cell populations existing in the sample; and (c) associating the levels of markers for respective normal and neoplastic cell populations with the existence of a target protein to establish a composite marker profile for the sample derived from an individual suspected to have a neoplastic condition.
