Provided is an injector comprising a syringe unit including a syringe that encloses a substance to be injected, an ignition device, and a piston, and an activation unit which activates the same. The syringe unit includes a tubular housing in which the ignition device and piston is integrated, and is configured such that the syringe can be mounted in a housing space formed inside the housing through an opening provided on a side face of the housing. In addition, the syringe includes a nozzle and a plunger which forms a closed space to enclose the substance to be injected and is capable of advancing toward the nozzle by the piston, and when the syringe is mounted in the housing, the syringe is fixed such that the plunger of the syringe is disposed in a position opposing the piston integrated in the housing. |
