<p>The present invention heats heating media through friction force by rotating an impeller in a variable heating medium friction space formed inside a housing at high speeds. A plurality of coupling grooves is formed on the inner surface of the housing at uniform intervals. Heat medium friction members manufactured separately are assembled into the coupling grooves of the housing. Therefore, the present invention facilitates the manufacturing of a mold of the housing; enables the precise manufacture of the mold; reduces the costs for molds; and improves cost-efficiency since the damaged heating medium friction member can be separated from the coupling groove of the housing, and can be replaced with a new one unlike a prior art which requires the replacement of the entire housing when the heating medium friction member is damaged or worn away. In addition, the present invention can control flow rate and improve thermal efficiency by freely adjusting the size of the variable heating medium friction space for heating the heating media between the housing and the impeller.</p> |
