PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient and low-cost means for inducing differentiation to a nerve cell from a neural stem cell.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a cell culture substrate for inducing differentiation to a nerve cell from a neural stem cell, the cell culture substrate including a base material having an active group on the surface, and a protein having an activity to induce differentiation to a nerve cell from a neural stem cell, which is immobilized on a substrate by a covalent bond by a reaction with the active group on the base material surface.
