<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure and method for a flexible cable connector that can obtain sufficient soldering space for parts that are mounted to a PCB, by having the parts be mounted to the upper surface of the PCB, but having the soldering take place on the lower surface.SOLUTION: A flexible cable connector includes: a housing 10 whereon a contact terminal 20 is mounted that enables insertion and withdrawal of a flexible cable 3 and contact with the flexible cable 3; an actuator 30 that opens/closes and is installed in such a way as to enable rotation on the housing; and a fitting nail that is furnished on the housing 10 and fixes the housing 10 to a PCB 2. The fully-assembled flexible cable connector, in which the contact terminal 20, the actuator 30, and the fitting nail have each been mounted to the housing, passes through from the bottom to the top of the PCB 2, and the bottom of the contact terminal 20 and the bottom of the fitting nail are soldered to the lower surface of the PCB 2.</p> |
