The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light guide body in which it is possible, using an inexpensive configuration, to obtain a large amount light emitted perpendicularly with respect to the light emission surface and to obtain uniformly emitted planar light. In order to accomplish the aforesaid purpose, the light guide body is characterized in having, on the light emission surface and/or the reverse surface opposite the light emission surface, a light diffusion pattern formed of a plurality of dots containing a first diffusion agent, the light diffusion pattern being controlled by the size and density of the dots. |
