PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing and especially a gloss type coated paper for printing having inkjet commercial printability for high speed continuous printing.SOLUTION: There is provided a coated paper for printing having a coated layer on at least single face of a base paper, and the coated layer absorption amount of 7 ml/to 30 ml/at absorption time of 5 msecby using pure water at 25°C and contact angle of 22° to 30° at 0.1 sec after contact of an ethanol aqueous solution to the coated layer by using the ethanol aqueous solution of 30 wt.%.
