PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact food container increased in a substantial volume.SOLUTION: A food container 11 is formed by press molding one flexible sheet material, and includes a bottom 15, and a side wall part 17 rising obliquely outward from an outer edge of the bottom 15. The side wall part 17 comprises flat parts 19a and 19b and pleat parts 24a and 24b, and the flat parts 19a and 19b are formed with folds 20a and 20b extending downward from an upper end part. Consequently, an area in the side wall part 17, held by the pleat parts 24a and 24b is decreased by the folds 20a and 20b so as to make the projection area of the pleat parts 24a and 24b in a plane view small and make the food container 11 compact. |
