PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulation conveyor device capable of supplying articles sent at a nonuniform interval from a front stage to a rear stage at a constant interval.SOLUTION: The present accumulation conveyor device comprises a pair of belt conveyors 2 and 3 on the upstream side and the downstream side for forming a continuous carrying surface; the carrying speed of the upstream side belt conveyor 2 is set so as to become faster than the carrying speed of the downstream side belt conveyor 3 and a supplier belt conveyor; the lengths of these carrying surfaces 6 and 12 are relatively changed; a relative change of the lengths of the carrying surfaces is executed via a movable shaft holder reciprocating in parallel to the carrying surfaces 6 and 12, a sensor for detecting the arrival of an article on the upstream side belt conveyor 2 and a servomotor for controlling the movable shaft holder on the basis of a signal from the sensor; and the forefront article on the upstream side belt conveyor 2 is transferred onto the downstream side belt conveyor 3 in response to the reciprocating motion of the movable shaft holder. |
