PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the total processing time for merging processing on print setting information in a printing system for processing print data sequentially with a plurality of filters.SOLUTION: A first filter generates third print setting information on the basis of merging first print setting information in a first hierarchy with second print setting information in a second hierarchy lower than the first hierarchy, and stores the third print setting information generated. A second filter following the first filter acquires the third print setting information. |
