PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-made barrier packaging material which combines excellent gas barrier properties and water vapor barrier properties.SOLUTION: A paper-made barrier packaging material includes a water vapor barrier layer which is formed on a paper substrate and contains a pigment and a binder resin and a gas barrier layer which is formed on the water vapor barrier layer and contains a binder resin. The blend ratio of the pigment to the binder resin contained in the water vapor barrier layer is 100 pts. wt. of the pigment to 30-200 pts. wt. of the binder resin. The binder resin contained in the gas barrier layer is polyvinyl alcohol.
