<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc-welding apparatus capable of controlling a welding voltage while suppressing increase in spattering.SOLUTION: An arc-welding apparatus A1, for use in performing welding while generating shorting and arcing states repeatedly, includes: a difference calculation part U2 for calculating a differential voltage by subtracting a welding voltage from a target voltage; a speed setting part U3 for setting advancing speed and retracting speed of a welding wire relatively to a work W so that a ratio of the retracting speed to the advancing speed increases with a magnitude of the differential voltage; and a feed-supply mechanism 41 for driving the welding wire 44 at the advancing speed and the retracting speed.</p> |
