1. A spray apparatus for producing a stream of propellant gas and carbon dioxide comprising:
the carbon dioxide in a first state, which is a saturated liquid; compressing the carbon dioxide in the first state to form a second state, which is super-saturated at a density greater than 0.9 g/ml; said compression is adjusted using a high pressure pump; a condensation of the carbon dioxide in the second state within a micro-capillary tube to form a third state, which is a microscopic solid; said propellant gas and said carbon dioxide in the third state are mixed to form the stream of the propellant gas and the carbon dioxide; said carbon dioxide mixing rate is adjusted using a high pressure pump; whereby the stream is used to treat a substrate surface. |
