<p>A meter apparatus has the function of an authentication unit that, when a communication with a communication device is started, performs an authentication of the communication device by acquiring, from the communication device, authentication information, such as ID and password, so as to verify the validity of the communication device. The communication device has the functions of: an acquisition unit that acquires the authentication information having been inputted by another device that is different from the meter apparatus and from the communication device; and a transfer unit that transmits the authentication information to the meter apparatus. As an example of the other device, a smartphone, which is a mobile terminal having a portable housing and also having functions to receive from the communication device and display a measurement result obtained by the meter apparatus, may be used.</p> |
