<p>The present invention relates to a method to install an azimuth thruster. The method comprises steps of: connecting the azimuth thruster being installed on a ship to a support unit; descending the support unit by a crane in order for the support unit to be supported by the ship, when the azimuth thruster is connected to the support unit; and combining the azimuth thruster with the ship after separating the crane from the support unit, when the support unit connected to the azimuth thruster is supported by the ship. According to the present invention, the method is capable of installing the azimuth thruster while descending the azimuth thruster toward the ship, and therefore allows the installation work of the azimuth thruster to be performed on land.</p> |
