<p>Disclosed is a tool pick-up unit that conducts rapid tool change through simple moving line and fast operation when a tool is drawn from or mounted at a tool magazine and an automatic tool changer having the same. The disclosed tool pick-up unit includes: a tool holder having a pair of fingers grasping a tool when come close to each other and releasing the tool when become distant from each other, a finger grip actuator disposed at the rear side of the tool holder to drive the pair of fingers in such a manner as to allow the pair of fingers to come close to or become distant from each other; a holder rolling actuator disposed behind the finger grip actuator to rolling-rotate the tool holder in such a manner as to allow the tool grasped by the tool holder to rolling-rotate around the axial line in the longitudinal direction of the tool; a linear moving means adapted to linearly move the tool holder in such a manner as to allow the tool grasped by the tool holder to move in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the axial line in the longitudinal direction of the tool; and a swivel means adapted to swivel-rotate the tool holder in such a manner as to allow the tool grasped by the tool holder to swivel-rotate around the axial line in a predetermined vertical direction.</p> |
