摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus in which a dose in a low tube voltage period and a dose in a high tube voltage period are equal in the X-ray CT apparatus constructed so as to perform dual energy photographing, and to provide a control method of the X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a high voltage power source 55, a timing control part 54, a section determination part 58, and a threshold setting part 60. The high voltage power source 55 is configured so that, when a set voltage is switched, output voltage varies to reach the set voltage taking a required time. The timing control part 54 repeats the following: to set the set voltage to a first voltage for a first period and then set the set voltage to a second voltage for a second period. The section determination part 58 compares a tube voltage of an X-ray tube 21 with a prescribed threshold to determine to be a first voltage section when the output voltage is smaller than the prescribed threshold, and determines to be a second voltage section when the output voltage is equal to or more than the prescribed threshold.
