PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine that enables washing water to be infiltrated into the laundry efficiently so as to enhance the cleaning efficiency of the laundry even when a drum is packed with the laundry because there are a lot of the laundry at a time.SOLUTION: In a drum-type washing machine in accordance with an embodiment of this invention, a control means conducts high-speed rotational operation that rotates a drum at a rotation frequency higher than such frequency that a portion of the laundry stick to the inner peripheral part of the drum, in the washing operation of rotating the drum to agitate the laundry to wash, in the washing step, and operates a circulation pump to spray water in the drum from a water spray port part during the high-speed rotational operation. |
