<p>An image forming apparatus in one embodiment includes: a first paper feeding control unit; a transfer unit that transfers a toner image onto a front surface or a back surface of the sheet; a second paper feeding control unit that reverses the sheet whose front surface has been transferred; a first decision unit that decides a transfer order on each surface by interleaf control; an execution control unit that controls the transfer on the back surface; and a second decision unit that decides whether a second sheet is to be fed for being transferred. The execution control unit makes the second sheet be fed from the sheet staking unit. The first paper feeding control unit controls such that the first sheet is apart from the second sheet by a predetermined interval distance or more, without changing a transfer order.</p> |
