<p>Provided is a heat-resistant flame-retardant resin composition which is a resin composition made by blending an inorganic filler and/or a flame retardant to a mixture of a random polypropylene and a fluorine rubber composition that comprises a tetrafluoroethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and a vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer and by further irradiating the mixture with an ionizing radiation to cross-link said fluorine rubber composition and said random polypropylene, the mixing ratio between said tetrafluoroethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and said vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer and the mixing ratio between said fluorine rubber composition and said random polypropylene being within predetermined ranges, the heat-resistant flame-retardant resin composition being inexpensive and having excellent insulating properties, heat resistance, flame retardancy, and oil resistance as well as mechanical strength, such as cut-through properties and crimping workability, in a balanced manner. Also provided are an insulated electric wire having an insulating sheath made of said resin composition, and a tube made of said heat-resistant flame-retardant resin composition.</p> |
