摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material for a handrail, which allows for three-dimensional flexural deformation and torsional deformation at normal temperature, with sufficient connection strength. <P>SOLUTION: A joint material 1 is integrally formed from a flexible synthetic resin material such as polypropylene resin. The joint material 1 has an end provided with a first connection end 3 having a projecting shape, and another end provided with a second connection end 4 having a projecting shape. These connection ends 3 and 4 are connected with a bridge part 7 composed of a plurality of ribs 5, 5,... and 6, 6,... which are integrally formed. The bridge part 7 comprises a linear part 7a extending by a distance L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>along a linear axis 3a of the connection end 3, a linear part 7b extending by a distance L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>along a linear axis 4a of the connection end 4, and a curved part 7c extending between the linear part 7a and the linear part 7b.
