<p>The present invention relates to a guardrail having a shock absorbing function for a boundary between a sidewalk and a roadway, in which a portion of the guardrail made of metal, against which a pedestrian collides frequently, is covered by a buffer member having a shock absorbing function, thereby improving the safety of the pedestrian, preventing the guardrail made of metal from being exposed to the outside, and securing the visibility by natural luminescence at night. The guardrail includes a plurality of posts fixed to the ground along a boundary among a school zone, a sidewalk and a roadway; a post upper connecting rail and a post side connecting rail for connecting an upper end and a side of the post; and a buffer member provided to the outside of the post upper connecting rail and the post side connecting rail, respectively.</p> |
