<p>The present invention relates to a self-generating GPS device capable of tracing the location permanently using self-generated energy and the global positioning system (GPS) and an operation method thereof. On the inner surface of a main body unit of the device which is installed and fixed inside a rotational shaft of a vehicle, a permanent magnet is installed and fixed. When the rotational shaft of the vehicle rotates, also the main body unit and the permanent magnets rotate so electricity is induced in a coil. The induced electricity is converted and stabilized into charging or driving power. A charging battery unit which is installed and fixed on the outer surface of a shock absorbing pad unit charges a charging battery with the converted and stabilized charging power by a self generation unit. A GPS device unit which is installed and fixed on the external surface of the shock absorbing pad unit receives power supplied from the self generation unit or charging battery unit and drives a GPS system function to trace the location.</p> |
