PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device and illumination apparatus which can improve input power factor and input current waveform distortion with a simple construction.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 11 and an illumination apparatus 10 comprise: a series circuit of an inductance element L and a capacitance element C, to which AC power 16 is inputted; an AC-DC conversion part 14 which is connected in parallel to the capacitance element C and operates to rectify the AC power 16 to a direct current; and a smoothness part 15 which consists of the combination of a plurality of active elements D5, D6, D7 and a plurality of passive elements C2,C3 and operates to smooth the rectified power. An LED 12 is lighted using the power smoothed by the smooth part 15. |
