<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a reforming catalyst part, when heat from a burner for heating, unevenly transfers to a reforming catalyst layer, unevenness in the temperature of the reforming catalyst layer is caused to make a high temperature part and a low temperature part, and therefore the whole of the reforming catalyst layer is not effectively used to deteriorate the efficiency of generating hydrogen, and a catalyst and a structure surrounding the catalyst are heated to high temperature to cause possibility of deteriorating the durability of the catalyst and structure. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generator includes: a burner 3 burning a fuel gas; a burning gas flow passage 4 formed between a first cylindrical structure 100 located on the outer side of the burner 3 and a second cylindrical structure adjacent to the outside of the first cylindrical structure; and a water evaporation part 8, a reforming catalyst layer 9 and a CO removing catalyst layer 10, which are located on the outer side of the second cylindrical structure 101, wherein the outer circumferential surface of the first cylindrical structure 100 is provided with a plurality of projections 12, and the number of the projections 12 in the circumferential direction to the first cylindrical structure 100 is larger in the upstream part of the burning gas flow in the burning gas flow passage 4 than that in the downstream part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
