PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power unit which easily absorbs an influence of individual difference etc. of internal elements etc. to accurately attain desired static load fluctuation characteristics. SOLUTION: A switching power unit includes: an output voltage detection circuit 38 which outputs an indirect output voltage signal V3; a reference voltage signal generation circuit 42 which outputs a reference voltage signal V2; and an error amplifier 44 which outputs difference between the reference voltage signal V2 and the indirect output voltage signal V3. The switching power unit includes a main switching element drive circuit 24 which performs pulse width modulation on the basis of output of the error amplifier 44 to output a drive pulse Vg22. The switching power unit includes an output current detection circuit 48 which detects switching current to output an indirect output current signal V1. The switching power unit includes a correction amount control circuit 46 which intermits the indirect output current signal V1 with ratio D46 at on. The reference voltage signal generation circuit 42 receives the indirect output current signal V1 via the correction amount control circuit 46, and corrects the reference voltage signal V2 according to a peak value and the ratio D46 at on of the indirect output current signal V1.
