PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reach type forklift which prevents a vehicle body of the forklift from coming into contact with the surrounding upon right angle stacking. SOLUTION: A pair of front wheels are arranged on the front side of a vehicle body 10 provided with a loading part, and a rear wheel 12 used for steering is stored in at least one side of right end and left end of the rear side of the vehicle body 10. Further, a part facing a rear wheel 20 on the vehicle body 10 is notched by a notch part 31. A part of the rear wheel 12 passes through an area notched by the notch part 31 on the vehicle body 10 when the steering of the rear wheel 12 is performed. Thereby, distances between the turning center upon the right angle stacking and right rear end and left rear end in the vehicle body 10 is shortened and the turning radius upon the right angle stacking is reduced.
