<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate film for releasing a polarizing plate having excellent contrast property, little haze variation due to heat treatment, excellent optical axis accuracy, and thermal dimensional stability. <P>SOLUTION: A biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate film for releasing a polarizing plate is a laminated biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate film and satisfies the following constitutional requirements (1) to (4). (1) A laminate constitution of three or more layers is obtained by a co-extrusion method. (2) A polyester which constitutes both surface layers has the amount of the terminal hydroxyl (OH) groups of 70 eq/ton or less and a cyclic trimer content of 0.45 mass% or less. (3) An MOR value measured by a microwave transmission type molecular orientation meter is 1.80 to 2.10. and (4) An amount of variation of an orientation angle in a lateral direction of a film is 3.0 to 5.0°per 500 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
