A weightlifting bar 110 having first and second handles 100 coupled which move independently from one another horizontally. Said bar contains first and second identical equidistant horizontal grooves 111, 112 wherein said first handle couples to said first groove and said second handle couples to said second groove. Said bar also contains cut holes wherein a locking mechanism which inserts a pin into the holes, preventing movement. Said handles also contain a release mechanism to unlock said handles from a fixed state to be moved to a new position along said bar. In a preferred embodiment said bar contains five identically located holes within both said first and second grooves for said handles to lock into five equidistant positions along said bar. |
