The present invention enhances performance to prevent leakage of a coating solution in a slit nozzle. More specifically, a discharge width-altering means (9) is provided to a slit (16) and a hole (15) that is long in the width direction and formed in a slit nozzle (10), and moves in the width direction thereby altering the discharge width (D) of a coating solution from the slit (16). The discharge width-altering means (9) has: a sealing body (18) having an O-shaped elastic member (41) in contact with an inner wall surface (15a) of the hole (15) and partitioning the hole (15) into a coating solution side and an outer side in the width direction thereof; and a thin-plate spacer (17) regulating outflow of the coating solution to the outside in the width direction within the slit (16), the spacer being harder than the elastic member (41) and having an edge part (57) interlocking into a part (58) of the outer periphery of the elastic member (41). |
