PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring an ohmic electrical resistance of a conductive substance during a rapid rise in temperature due to self-heating energization according to the principle of a four-terminal method, which is capable of accurately and efficiently deriving an electrical resistivity in a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: The method for measuring an ohmic electrical resistance of a conductive substance during a rapid rise in temperature due to self-heating energization according to the principle of a four-terminal method includes deriving electrical resistance of a sample from the inclination of a voltage-current plot primary approximation straight line obtained by a plurality of measurements conducted while changing the temperature rising speed of the same sample.
