<p>In a pretensioner mechanism(36), movement of a piston (88) is anchored by an anchoring pin (42). The anchoring pin (42) is crushed and the piston (88) is allowed to move. Hence, a pinion (50) is turned by a rack (96) of the piston (88). A facilitating cavity (42B) is formed in the anchoring pin (42). Crushing and deformation of the anchoring pin (42) in a diametric direction thereof due to a movement of the rack (96) is facilitated by the facilitating cavity (42B). Therefore, the anchoring pin (42) may be easily crushed and deformed in the diametric direction by the movement of the rack (96), and the action of the anchoring pin (42) caused by the movement of the rack (96) may be effectively made consistent.</p> |
