Cold treatment product (I) for glasses, comprises demineralized water (85-99 wt.%) and at least a poly-carboxylate (15-1 wt.%). Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the cold treatment of glasses comprising applying a coating on the glass using (I) and cooled to a large extent; and (2) a glass container with (I), which is applied directly on the glass surface.
