The present invention relates to an independent multi- contact point ignition for preventing motorcycle and vehicle thefts, which includes: a key insertion part having a key insertion groove into which a key is inserted; a key box body which protects the key insertion part by enclosing the key insertion part, and which is fixedly provided in a body of a motorcycle or vehicle; and a key box switch which is fixedly installed to the key box body, and which has independent multiple contact points formed thereon. When the key inserted into the key insertion groove of the key insertion part is turned, by a plurality of independent multi-contact-point rotators which are turned with the turning of the key, electrical conduction is formed through a plurality of independent multi-contact-point switching terminals such that the motorcycle or the vehicle starts. According to the present invention, even if the key box of the motorcycle or the vehicle is damaged to find a power line in order to forcibly start an engine, a plurality of anti-theft power lines having the same colors are provided. In addition, the engine is started only when two pairs of left and right terminals are independently conducted with multi-points. The theft of the motorcycle or vehicle can be substantially prevented since two pairs of left and right power lines connected to the power source are difficult to find when the key box is damaged and thus the motorcycle or vehicle cannot start without a private key.
