<p>Described is a wellhead for testing the integrity of welding at high temperatures by means of a pressurized mixture of gas, which is injected in an area located between the inner and outer weld of a flange welded to a tubular section or casing section, the integrity of the welding being tested at high temperatures so as to be repaired without heating the tube or the casing. A threaded injection port of the wellhead may establish a fluid communication between a pressurized container, which injects a mixture of gas that includes a marker gas such as halocarbon and/or hydrocarbon, and the fluid chamber or groove of the injection port of the wellhead, in such a manner that said fluid chamber or groove of the threaded port of the wellhead has a reduced space between the injection port and the external surface of the casing, therefore said space making contact, almost in a direct manner, with the spaces that establish the fluid communication between the weld and the fluid chamber or groove.</p> |
