PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fuel cell unit built in a simple and economical composition and having two electrolyte membrane-electrode structures to be surely positioned and held in place, thereby making it possible to improve the efficiency of assembly work.SOLUTION: A fuel cell unit 12 constituting a fuel cell 10 includes a first electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14a having a frame part 28 provided in its peripheral section, a first separator 16, a second electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14b having a frame part 28 provided in its peripheral section, a second separator 18, and a third separator 20. The first electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14a includes a resin pin part 106a provided on the frame part 28 integrally therewith, while the first separator 16, the second electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14b, the second separator 18 and the third separator 20 have hole portions 76a, 120a, 100a and 50a formed respectively therein into which is inserted the resin pin part 106a. |
