PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a seat back on a partitioning panel for partitioning a cabin and a trunk room with favorable workability. SOLUTION: In this seat 1 for a vehicle adjustable in reclining, the seat back 10 is attached to a link mechanism 50 attached on the partitioning panel which partitions the cabin and the trunk room. The seat back 10 is constituted so as to be applied with positioning in the fore-and-aft direction of the seat by an effect that abutment surfaces 13B formed at a skeleton of the seat back abut on abutted faces 52C1 formed at a long plate 52C of the link mechanism 50 from the front side of the seat. The abutment surfaces 13B are formed so as to be sandwiched vertically in a pair from oblique angles at the front side of the seat with respect to the abutted faces 52C1, the seat back 10 is applied with the positioning in the fore-and-aft direction of the seat with respect to the long plate 52C by this abutment, and positioned at the long plate 52c while the movement in the rotational direction with the fore-and-aft direction of the seat as an axis is regulated.
