PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing load of a computer in data migration. SOLUTION: Association means 5a of a node 5 defines a storage area in a storage device 8, being equivalent to a storage capacity of a virtual disk 1, as a migration destination storage area 8a. The association means 5a associates the migration destination storage area 8a with the storage area in the virtual disk 1. For example, the association means 5a associates consecutive storage areas in the virtual disk 1 with consecutive storage areas in the migration destination storage area 8a. Copy means 5b, 6a, and 7a of nodes 5-7 take out data of the virtual disk 1 which the copy means manage from storage devices 2-4 and copy the data to a position in the migration destination storage area 8a corresponding to the position of the data in the virtual disk 1.
