<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which positional deviation in an output image is suppressed by improving delay in speed control at a load variation. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control unit 202 includes a motor drive circuit 202h that makes control so that a coil current value in a drive motor 101K being a stepping motor may be a prescribed value, and a current correction circuit 307 that outputs a correction value to the motor drive circuit 202h based on a drive control pulse signal for driving the drive motor 101K and the coil current value in the drive motor 101K.
