<p>361,778. Stoppers for drums. BLANCH, E. A. and KORK-N-SEAL, Ltd., 40, Norfolk Street, Strand, London.- (Williams, G. A.; 314, Decatur, Illinois, U.S.A.) March 20, 1931, No. 8670. [Classes 125 (i) and 125 (iii).] A non reusable closure for cans, drums, &c., having inwardly and downwardly rolled nozzles 11, comprises a cup-shaped seal 17, the edge of which is rolled to correspond with the nozzle. Tongues 19 on the seal 17 engage under the rolled edge of the nozzle and a cap 15 is applied thereto having an internal scaling disc 16 which engage the outer surface of the rolled edge to complete the sealing. The closure cannot be removed and replaced without mutilation. The invention is stated to be particularly adapted for use with lever-fastened caps of the type shown in Specification 296,962 and 300,091, [both in Class 125 (iii), Stoppers &c.],</p> |
