A pressure bulkhead (11) includes a bulkhead wall (24) having a radially inner disk (26) and a radially outer compression ring, the outer compression ring (28) being reinforced to balance meridional and hoop stresses sustained by the bulkhead wall (24) in response to a pressure differential across the pressure bulkhead (11); the radially inner disk (26) being unitary with the outer compression ring (28).
