The stabilizer (1) has a control head (3) to control position of an operation cable (23) and comprising a base with a detection head for detecting the position of a to-be operated load i.e. boat (2). A cable passage is crossed by the cable, and a drive unit (6) e.g. linear actuator such as pneumatic jack, drives the passage, where the passage is mounted to move with respect to the base along directions in a plane perpendicular to an axis of the passage. A control unit controls the drive unit with respect to the base according to data provided by an inertial power station. An independent claim is also included for an installation for handling a load to be launched or hoisted out of water. |
