The present invention relates to a circuit for driving a light emitting diode. The circuit for driving the light emitting diode according to the present invention includes: a power factor correcting unit including a switch for adjusting a phase difference between current and voltage of input power through a switching operation, an inductor for accumulating or discharging power according to the switching operation of the switch, a diode for providing a transmission path of power output from the inductor, and a capacitor for smoothing the power received from the light emitting diode; and a light emitting diode (LED) driving unit for electro-magnetic inducing the power applied to the inductor to generate organic power, and transforming the organic voltage after rectifying and smoothing the organic voltage to drive a light emitting diode (LED) module. |
