PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve capable of completely closing an annular valve seat by a disk-like valve element, even when the disk-like valve element abuts on the annular valve seat in an inclined state when seated on the annular valve seat. SOLUTION: An inlet 1, a valve chamber 5 and an outlet 3 are formed of a valve casing comprising an inlet member 2 and an outlet member 4. An annular valve seat 6 is disposed between the inlet 1 and the valve chamber 5, and a disk-like valve element 7 for opening and closing the annular valve seat 6 is placed inside the valve chamber 5. A coil spring 13 for biasing the disk-like valve element 7 toward the annular valve seat 6 is placed inside the valve chamber 5. A guide rod 8 is formed on a side face of the outlet 3 of the disk-like valve element 7, while a guide hole 11 is formed in the outlet member 4, the hole for slide-contacting with an outer circumference of the guide rod 8. Round-processing is executed in an end outer circumference 15 of the outlet 3 of the guide rod 8, and round-processing is executed in an end inner circumference 16 of the inlet 1 of the guide hole 11. The round-processed portion 15 of the guide rod 8 is fitted with the round-processed portion 16 of the guide hole 11, in a position where the disk-like valve element 7 is seated on the annular valve seat 6.
