PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that simply improves impact strength while maintaining versatility, a method for producing the same, and a method for producing a molding. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains an aliphatic polyamide resin (A) and an aliphatic polyester resin (B), wherein the quantity of the resin (B) is 5-35 mass%, assuming that the total of the resin (A) and the resin (B) is 100 mass%, the resin (A) constitutes a continuous phase while the resin (B) constitutes a dispersed phase, and a void exists between the continuous phase and the dispersed phase. The method for producing the resin composition includes a step of cooling a molten and mixed resin including the resin (A) constituting the continuous phase and the resin (B) constituting the dispersed phase, wherein T<SB POS="POST">B</SB><T<SB POS="POST">A</SB>when T<SB POS="POST">A</SB>is the crystallization temperature of the resin (A) and T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>is the crystallization temperature of the resin (B). The step of cooling includes: a step of cooling the resin to the temperature of not more than T<SB POS="POST">A</SB>and more than T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>at a temperature fall rate of 40°C/minute or more; and a step of cooling the resin to the temperature of less than T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>at a temperature fall rate of 10°C/minute or less.
