PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize smooth traffic flows on roads centering around an intersection. SOLUTION: A travel support process performs the processes: to search, if an avoidance object exists on a traveling route of an own vehicle beyond an object intersection, an avoidance destination road from roads running outward from the object intersection to allow the own vehicle to travel through the object intersection by avoiding the avoidance object (S510); to notify, when the avoidance destination road is detected as a result of searching (S520: YES), the detected avoidance destination road (S530); to notify, when the avoidance destination road is not detected (S520: NO), a stop instruction to instruct the own vehicle to stop before entering the object intersection (S540); and, if a behavior of the own vehicle after the notification of the stop instruction does not conform to content of the stop instruction (S570: NO), to perform an intervention control to output a control instruction to a braking control section and a drive control section so as to stop the own vehicle before entering the object intersection (S580).
