The present invention includes generating the subframe designating information for designating a subframe of a specific type in a radio frame and transmitting the generated subframe designating information to a user equipment, wherein the subframe designating information includes initial location information indicating an initial location of the subframe of the specific type on the radio frame and period information indicating a period for the subframe of the specific type to be repeated.

A method of transmitting, by a base station, subframe designating information, the method comprising: transmitting system information including the subframe designating information, a period value of the subframe designating information and an offset value associated with a start position at which the subframe designating information is applied, wherein the subframe designating information has 6 bits for one radio frame or 24 bits for four radio frames, wherein a radio frame includes 10 subframes, wherein the 6 bits are respectively corresponding to 6 subframes of the one radio frame, and the 24 bits are respectively corresponding to 24 subframes which include 6 subframes of each of the four radio frames, wherein each bit of the 6 or 24 bits indicates whether or not a corresponding subframe is a specific type subframe, and wherein the specific type subframe is an MBSFN (Multimedia Broadcast multicast service Single Frequency Network) subframe, a relay node subframe or a Channel State Information—Reference Signal (CSI-RS) subframe.
