<p>The present invention relates to an automatic power factor control device including a switch unit. An automatic power factor control device according to the present invention, which receives AC power, includes a plurality of phase advance capacitor units; a plurality of switch units connected to the phase advance capacitor units, respectively; and a control unit for controlling the switch units, wherein the switch unit includes a contactless switch part and a contact switch part connected in parallel to each other, the contactless switch part includes a contactless switch, a rectifier circuit for the wireless switch, and a switch control line through which a signal of the control unit is transmitted to the contactless switch, and the contact switch part includes a contact switch and a switch control line through which the signal of the control unit is transmitted to the contact switch. When the phase advance capacitor unit is turned on, after the contactless switch is turned on, the contact switch is turned on. Since the contactless switch is turned off after the contact switch is turned off when the phase advance capacitor unit is turned off, any heat is not generated from the contactless switch when the phase advance capacitor unit is turned on and any sparks are not generated when the phase advance capacitor unit is turned off. In addition, the contactless switches through which current flows are immediately connected to the control unit. In the automatic power factor control device including the switch unit, various load units may be applied instead of the phase advance capacitor unit, and an AC electric device including the load unit, the switch unit and the control unit has the same features as the automatic power factor control device.</p> |
