<p>The present invention refers to a process for obtaining a chloroformic extract from stalks, leaves and flowers of the Justicia spicigera plant, by means of successive macerations with hexane, chloroform, methanol and water. The invention also refers to the chloroformic extract with an anti-high blood effect tested in the model of rats with L-NAME-induced high blood, where surprisingly, the extract was able to reduce the blood pressure down to normal values. The invention refers to the use of the extract for preparing a pharmaceutical composition useful in the high blood pressure treatment.</p> |
